The Story

The second opening from Woodfire Café owner Joe Oualadi, this tiny 10-seater restaurant on the corner of Dorset Street and Blessington Street is somewhere to go big on Irish seafood. There’s a real Spanish feel to The Seafood Bar, with dishes like gambas al ajillo, pulpo a la gallega, and paella, served alongside cold cañas of beer and chilled white wine. There are extra tables outside if it’s warm, and if there’s no seats available we’d happily stand around one of their barrels eating crab on toast with a glass of cava in hand.
