There's A Pizza, Wine And Plants Pop-Up In Smithfield This Weekend

There are a few post-Covid visions that we're clinging to, but one is sitting in Bonobo's beautiful beer garden in Smithfield with pints, friends and sunshine on our shoulders. While we're still a little bit away from that manifesting into reality, they've decided to tease us by bringing back pizzas for takeaway this weekend alongside a Neighbourhood Wine pop up shop.

They've got 3 brand new pizzas on the menu and you'll be thankful you can now meet with one other household outside because you're going to want them all. We really like the sound of the No. 2 with tomato, Fior di Latte, rosemary roast potato, pancetta, creamy egg, parmesan and chives, but also the No. 4, with tomato, Fior di Latte, ventricina salami, roasted jalapenos and creamy nduja. There's also a vegan option with roasted pumpkin, zucchini, cashew cheese and sundried tomato pesto.

Neighbourhood Wine will be popping up with a changing selection of wines at retail prices, including producers like Mas Coutelou, Gut Oggau, Testalonga, Lopez de Heredia, Dutraive, and fine (read: expensive) Burgundies chosen by Joey Scanlon (ex sommelier from Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud), who will also be manning the shop.

Bonobo will also be selling 500ml cocktails to go, including the 'Lady Marmalade' with gin, honey syrup, lemon juice and marmalade, a lot of craft beers and draught Guinness to go, and plant purveyors Potty Mouth will be filling the pub full of house plants and pots that you can take home (in exchange for money).

The Bonobo/Neighbourhood Wine/Potty Mouth pop up starts this weekend until they decide otherwise, and will be open Friday and Saturday from 16:00 - 21:00, and Sunday from 14:00 - 18:00.
