ATF Insiders - What you could win in March!

Another month in ATF land, another nine brilliant prizes we've got for ATF Insiders to thank them for keeping our lights on and our content coming. As an ad-free, invite-free platform, ATF Insiders is how we're funded and operate, ensuring everything recommended here has been paid for by us. and you're only getting honest, uninfluenced takes on where we eat.


Everyone signed up to ATF Insiders by midnight on Monday 17th March will be entered into the draw, and winners will be picked and notified on Tuesday 18th March. Here's what we've got for you this month...



1) Four tickets for Wellfest worth over €350


Europe's largest outdoor health and wellness festival WellFest is back in Dublin this May, with their biggest line up yet. On the food front you'll find TV Chef Erica Drum, Dublin dumpling legend Janet Liu, plant powered chefs Conor Spacey and Christina Soteriou, and Han Song Kim of from Korean restaurant and food brand Jaru, with loads more to be announced. WellFest is on at the IMMA at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin 8 on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May, and we've got four tickets to give away to one of you lucky people worth over €350! 2) €100 voucher for Suertudo, Ranelagh


Earlier this week we took over Suertudo, a little snapshot of Mexico city in the middle of Ranelagh. ATF Insiders enjoyed a night of freshly made tacos, mole and our new obsession - camotito with homemade nachos. We drank Jaguar Sips and aged tequila. and had to be rolled onto the Luas while the team did it all again for seating number two. 3) Lunch for two with wine at Ely Wine Bar


Lunch is coming to Ely Wine Bar, just metres from St. Stephen’s Green, from Wednesday 19th March! A new menu from chef James Agnew (formerly at Chapter One) will be served from 12-3pm Wednesday - Friday, with dishes like blue cheese and candied walnut vol-au-vonts; Skeaghanore duck ragu with with homemade pappardelle; and raspberry and elderflower doughnuts for dessert. We've got a three course lunch with wine to give away to one of our Insiders this month, and be aware that Neil Kenna from First Dates is now fronting the team, so if you get easily star struck brace yourself before entering. 4) Four-course West African dinner for two from IBILE

 

IBILE, Dublin’s pioneering West African dining concept, are back at the Fumbally Stables for a special Mother's Day dining experience. The four-course tasting menu aims to take guests on a journey through authentic and contemporary West African cuisine, paired with African wines and African-inspired cocktails. Tickets are €50 including a drink on arrival, with two sittings at 16:00 and 19:30, and we've got a table for two to give away to whichever seating you'd like. 5) Pizzas and pints for four from Rascals Brewing


Inchicore pizzeria and brewery Rascals Brewing (who've just been awarded a McKennas' Guides Best In Ireland plaque for the fourth consecutive year) are bringing a taste of Brazil to Dublin 8 this month, with their latest special "The Dogfather". Head chef Felipe Santos Souza, from São Paulo, was inspired by a unique Brazilian hot dog called "Cachorro-Quente Brasileiro", which comes loaded with purê de batata (mashed potatoes). His special has tomato sauce, mozzarella, Frankfurter, mashed potato, mustard, ketchup, and chipsticks, and they say it needs to be tasted for the deliciousness to be believed. Rascals Brewing are giving one of our Insiders pizzas and pints for four people, and we expect a full report.



6) A Nespresso Vertuo Pop coffee machine


To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Nespresso has partnered with award-winning Bar 1661 to create a very special coffee experience in Dublin. From March 14th to 17th, the Nespresso Duke Street shop will transform into a cocktail lounge, serving non-alcoholic coffee cocktails, including an Irish Coffee and Nespresso Martini, made with Nespresso’s new decaffeinated range. One of you will be celebrating at home too, as we've got a Nespresso Vertuo Pop coffee machine to give away, along with six sleeves of coffee, from the Stormio Boost to the Sweet Vanilla decaf.



7) Two limited edition whiskeys from Glendalough


The award-winning Glendalough Distillery has just released its limited-edition Pot Still Peated, to join its other limited edition Double Barrel Cask Strength, and we've got a bottle of each to give away. Pot Still Peated is made from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in traditional copper pot stills, and aged for over seven years, with the introduction of peated malt adding a delicate smokiness to the signature spice and creamy texture. The Double Barrel Cask Strength single-grain is rich and complex, aged initially in flame-charred ex-bourbon American oak casks, and finished in first-fill Oloroso casks from Montilla, Spain, giving aromas of dark fruits, nuts, citrus, and nutmeg, with a palate of cherries, honey, and peppercorn. 8) €100 voucher for Dropchef's all-Irish meal kits


Irish-owned meal kit delivery service DropChef, has gone all-Irish for St. Patrick’s Day. Their new ‘Chef Drop’ collaboration is with The Salt Project’s Caomhán de Brí - a chef known for hyper-local food sourcing wherever he is in the country. Their new meal kits celebrate seasonal Irish produce and showcase some of the country’s top food producers, backing up DropChef’s commitment to Irish suppliers and sourcing the best quality local produce. We've got a €100 voucher to give away for DropChef this month that the winner can use to order a selection of their limited edition all-Irish 'Chef Drop' meal kits, containing pre-portioned ingredients and easy to follow step-by-step recipe cards for your chosen dishes, that will be ready to 30 minutes or less. 9) A whiskey prize package from Roe & Co Distillery


Roe & Co Distillery, recently crowned Visitor Attraction of the Year, is gearing up for a St. Patrick's Festival weekend at their Dublin 8 distillery. From March 14th - 17th there's going to be live music, watercolour artists, live screen printing on T-shirts and tote bags, and a cocktail and food menu featuring contemporary Irish dishes and drinks. Chef Caomhán de Brí will be cooking dishes like coddle, and colcannon potatoes with whisky gravy, and cocktails like the 'Sham-Roe Shake' will be available in little and large sizes. No bookings are required for the celebrations, with live music from 3-6pm each day, and if you can't make it, you might be the winner of a bottle of Roe & Co Solera Single Malt Irish Whiskey, as well as a pair of tickets for their Beyond the Blend experience.
