The Morrison Grill on Ormond Quay has created a €40 burger for National Burger Day, complete with wagyu beef, foie gras, truffle and gold leaf. The "La-Di-Da" burger will be served on a brioche bun with relish, hand cut triple cooked fries and fresh truffle shavings, and we can already hear the cries of how that imaginary animal is back and roaring.
The Morrison Grill is the restaurant in The Morrison Hotel, and if your pockets aren't that deep they're also doing a two-for-one deal on their Angus steak burger, josper blackened chicken burger or Wagyu beef burger, usually €17-24 each.
National Burger Day is this Thursday, 20th June, meaning you can get two-for-one burgers in loads of restaurants and takeaways around Dublin all day. Some of the places you might want to head for include 57 The Headline on Clanbrassil Street Lower, The Exchequer Gastropub, The Chophouse, The Counter Custom Burgers and Soma at The Spire. There are loads of fast food restaurants involved too, including Eddie Rockets, Captain Americas, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Macari's. You can see the full list and search for places in your area on their website.
